Because of some opposing opinions about bringing out a new mod for playoffs, we made decision to stick with the current version of the mod (1.2.0.)

After the playoffs we will replace 1.2.0. with the 1.4.0. for the HardCore Rumble league. Before that day we have to make a decision as community to take out the red markers (dots, diamonds) out from the command map or not.

Also Season 4 will be slightly delayed because of the delays before season 3's playoffs. It's possible to start a new season just after the playoffs - which ideally would be short one, or else it would go on over the summer. It's up to participating clans to say what they think about it.

So, no changes to the rules or the mod - so you can start scheduling your playoff matches right now! GL & HF!

We still encourage people to check out 1.4.0.b6 and give us feedback! Any ideas for season 4 are welcome as well! Should we stick with the current gametypes (RIZ, WZ, DOM) or is there interest in some SIZ action again? If clans really enjoyed the rumble league, what did you like about it?

The all mighty play-offs are here, ready or not…

All the regular season matches are settled now, only Trv vs. GEG match scores haven’t been filled yet. The match itself has been played… And we’ve had enough time to set up the league pages to roll again. So, logically – what we’re waiting for? Let the gaming begin!

Play-offs are going to be like previous seasons. There will be played one match with 1. round pairs (step 1), 2. round pairs (step 2), semi-finals (step 3) and finals (step 4). Four steps all in all to win the golden star, win all of them and you’ll receive some fame and glory…
Here’s an example of the system:

First round pairs will be:

1 vs. 8xup^ vs. =TanAtoS=
4 vs. 52|4 vs. [ED]
2 vs. 7 - *GR* vs. FRWL
3 vs. 6 - =[FiRe]= vs. =VEGA=

With play-off games we’re going to use mod version 1.4.0. that will be released next Monday, 25.1. afternoon GMT+0 time. From Monday on you’re allowed to play your matches! Before that if you want to check out new maps and guns, download 1.4.0.b6. For each step we’re suggesting time limits of one and half weeks. That means these matches here should be played to 4.2. and winners of these would have time to play their next matches to 14.2., and so on. Here’s an complete list how long play-offs should all in all take time:

Description of the mod version 1.4.0. – what’s new and changed there?

-8 new maps: Gas Plant, Trainyard, Ossetian Woodlands, Subway, Riverbend night, Military Airport, Cartel, Fort
-Jungle Camp -map re-added
-New weapons (read “weapons.doc” from Info –folder)
-Some spawn zones edited: Vilnius, Village, Desert Palace(Central Market), M06 Castle Day
-Certain spawn zones fixed (collision line fixes)
-Far clipping distance -values (.ENV files) of most maps are edited
-Some weather and fog changes
-Bugs/issues found from 1.4.0.b6 are fixed/going to be fixed if something new will found out. Now known bugs with 1.4.0.b6 are Ap Trung –fog layer, M08 battlefield and M14 mountain ground texture issues, M10 vilnius spawns

But before that, we will announce public BETA 6-test version. This should be final concept, all the things are set up which were supposed to. THIS VERSION DOESN'T HAVE ENEMY MARKERS, RED DIAMONDS, AT COMMAND MAP!

There's huge load of new maps, one truely fresh piece of art which will have its premiere today, by this version! Military Airport made by H-Hour! He promised to modify this map later a bit more how we'd like it to be/what changes we'd like to have there... Some sweet candy...

Also weapons are on their final state here! Check out Info -folder and read some more!

When we've done some test runs with this version, official 1.4.0. will be out. It's urgent to report/tell us if you spot some bug/error here!

Ps. Gas Plant -map Command Map is still in progress. We're waiting soon to have clean version of CM to implement GL -grids to it. This is just test version command map.
