Things are going fine concerning upcoming mod patch! There will be a full new version, and patch for current release, and we're looking for new download possibilities/options.
* Fix for "The Mine" Command Map issue
* One major drawback has occured - smoke granades. We've not been able to do them as throwable nades. There's been multiple different smoke devices and bombs in various mods, and now we're looking to including some version of them into GL mod. For now, these are planned to be implemented for Support and Sniper class.
* But there's a real break through - most likely we'll be able to add some obstacles (cars, walls, etc.) into maps, making many spawns or even whole maps to be equal or more equal than they're now - briefing: better playability! If this works, big thanks to one certain modder and ben... :)
* Maps - some new maps will be added, but amount and names still a bit unsure.
* Quite a many new weapons will be added. For instance, some long barrel assault rifles for Sniper class - idea to be able to have sniper camo + rifle. Some new rifles; SCAR, FAMAS, etc. - lets see
* We're trying to make support class interesting again. Right now the idea is to decrease zoom but aswell decrease bullet spreading, bringing the support ideology here - enough accurate spray to keep heads down, without having too long zoom. After all they're more like a spray & pray weapons... Supports also would have 6 hand granades with them.
* We will add some coop modes, for example large firefights, but this havent been discussed so much. Lets see!
And thats all folks! :) I shouldnt talk about release date yet, and I wont, but I'll promise some neat new things will be added! |

Saterday we were contacted by LCF and requested to take a look at some replays from fun games because they had their suspicions regarding one of their own members.
Sadly we didn't have enough time and resources to come to a conclusive answer that day. Otherwise we might have been able to prevent this outcome. Anyway, Sunday we were ready and straight after a planned official Ghostleague match between LCF and GSA we reviewed the player in question and clearly caught him cheating in that match.
There are several undeniable instances of the usage of the 'names' cheat in maps like Train Depot, Stronghold, Xom Dong and Beach Resort. [download replays here]
The player in question is Hakuna or "Haku", but better known as Bishi. He was banned before in TAG, but allowed back in LCF before the start of Ghostleague season 3.
Sadly Bishi broke their new found trust in him within weeks of rejoining the team by cheating against his countrymen from team GSA. In my personal opinion people can change after they made a mistake, and people will forgive you for your mistakes. But the real question is if they can do that twice? And is Bishi capable of staying on the straight path and not wasting other people's time by ruining their free time?
Time will tell of course. Now most of you expect a lifetime ban, but they simply don't work. There is no reason for that player not to return to the league and do whatever he wants. He has nothing to lose anymore.
We decided to give Bishi a temporary ban of unspecified time at this time. It is totally up to him if we allow him back in Ghostleague. When we think he is trustworthy and respectful again, we will allow him to come back again. He told us he'll play as Bishi from now on again, and we expect him to keep his word and face the consequences as a real man. We hope he realizes now that this isn't ''just a game'', but that he is playing against real people. Real people that sacrifice their time and/or make compromises in order to a play a match with their friends, [and we hope] against friends!
There are no consequences for LCF obviously. We like to thank them for trusting us by contacting us about their suspicions regarding one of their own. That's not an easy thing to do at all and we respect that a lot!
There will be consequences though if we find out Bishi was allowed to fakenick/mask in official Ghostleague matches of course [for any team].
We work hard to keep this league clean by doing regular random replay checks. We've checked more than 50% of all matches in this season already. We follow up on all your reports of suspicious activities and keep monitoring those players until we 100% sure they're clean.
You can always contact us if you have valid suspicions that someone cheated. But, we don't want you to become paranoid though. We honestly believe and know this is the cleanest ladder or league out there!
To show you how dedicated we are: we actually found out Hakuna was Bishi based on his playing style when watching the replays.
Please keep the comments clean guys. We should set the right example if we want others to change their behaviour! Thanks!
